Destination Weddings and Elopements
Destination weddings are all about immersing guests in a one-of-a-kind experience, that you – and they – will want to remember forever. And for elopements in particular, having beautiful photography to document the event is especially important, so you can share your story with loved ones who couldn't be there.
Whether you're planning an extravagant multi-day destination wedding, or a small, intimate elopement, I've got you covered! With experience travelling to over 50 countries all over the world, you can be sure I'll go prepared, and eager to offer whatever support and advice you need along the way.
Elopements begin at £250 + travel costs.

Engagement Photoshoots
A pre-wedding engagement shoot is the perfect way to capture some romantic portraits that celebrate the love you have for each other. It also helps build a connection with me, allowing you to feel more comfortable in front of the camera, so everything feels natural and easy on the big day.
We can meet in a location of your choice, or I can suggest somewhere halfway between us - country parks are usually a good option. We’ll spend a couple of hours wandering round, taking photos in a variety of different areas. I can give you some tips about posing, and you can practice in a relaxed setting, with more time and freedom than we might have on your wedding day.
You’ll come away with around 80 professionally edited photos, which capture your personalities and love. They can also make a lovely addition to your wedding invitations, website, or even be part of the decor at the reception, adding a personal touch to your celebration.

Travel Costs
The prices above include travel within a 100 mile radius of my home in Derby, as shown by the circle on the map. I'm still more than happy to cover weddings outside of this area, but please note there will be a small additional fee to cover increased travel costs – send me a message with your venue location for a no-obligation quote.
For destinations outside of the UK, I typically ask that you cover the cost of budget flights and two nights basic accommodation, so I can arrive the day before and not have to rush off after the event. Don’t worry, I’ll arrange and book everything myself – please message me for a bespoke quote for your destination.
The Booking Process
1) Initial contact
If you're interested in booking me to photograph your wedding, or you'd just like some more information, or an informal chat about any aspect of planning your wedding, send me a message! Let me know the date and location of your wedding, and I'll confirm if I'm available, and confirm any additional travel costs. If you like, we can book a video call to talk about your big day and get to know each other a bit – you can ask any questions and get a sense of how well we vibe, before you make any decision about hiring me.
2) Contract and Deposit
If you do decide to book with me, I'll issue a contract for you to sign and return, and ask you to pay a deposit of £120 to secure your date. The remaining balance will be due 4 weeks before the date of your wedding. Please note that your date isn't guaranteed until the deposit has been paid.
3) Before the Wedding
Once the deposit is paid and your date is confirmed, I'll send you a questionnaire to fill in with some details about your wedding, such as the timings of the day, and which group photos are most important to you. If you prefer, we can go through this together in a call.
If you've booked an engagement shoot with me as well, I'll look forward to meeting you in person for that, otherwise the first time we meet face-to-face will likely be on your wedding day itself. But don't worry, I'll be available around the clock via email and WhatsApp to answer any questions or offer advice, and we can arrange another call if you want to discuss anything.
Finally, a week or two before the big day, we'll try to arrange one final call to go over the order of the day again – this will refresh our memories, and you can let me know about any last-minute changes that inevitably happen!
4) The Wedding Day
I’ll be there to start documenting your day at whatever time and location we’ve agreed. This will often be where the bridal party are getting ready, or possibly the groomsmen if you prefer, or both if the locations are close enough together.
I’ll then capture the day as it unfolds, from preparations, to the ceremony, the reception, the wedding breakfast, speeches, first dance, cake-cutting and the evening party. I’ll aim to capture natural, candid moments and the genuine heartfelt interactions, without needing to stage anything.
At some point during the day, we’ll take some couples portraits with just the two of you. We can do this at whatever time fits best into your day - between the ceremony and reception often works well. We’ll get a variety of natural poses in different settings, but I’ll try not to take up too much of your time - around 15 to 20 minutes is usually good. Sometimes it’s nice to do a second portrait session later in the evening as well, when the light has changed - we might be blessed with a lovely sunset or pretty twilight colours, so if I see any potential opportunities, I might ask you to step aside for a few minutes if you’re free, but no pressure, you’ll always be in control!
We can also take some posed group shots with family and friends - this is where pre-planning is very useful, and we’ll work through the list you will have prepared in advance. It’s a good idea to appoint a bossy bridesmaid or groomsman who can help usher people into place and keep things moving. I’d recommend keeping the list as short as possible, so we can get through the groups quickly and you can enjoy more time with all of your guests.
I’ll stay as late as I need to to make sure I’ve not missed any magical moments.
5) After The Wedding
First of all, congratulations! You’ve made it through the big day, and all that time and effort you put into planning will have paid off! Hopefully you can put your feet up and relax for a few days, and you might be off on your honeymoon, but this is where the hard work starts for me!
I’ll aim to get a small selection of sneak peek photos back to you within a week, while you’re still buzzing with excitement - this will be a few dozen pictures from throughout the day, to whet your appetite. The mammoth task of editing the full set of photos will take a few weeks, when I’ll meticulously pour over them to select the best shots, and colour-grade them to turn them into elegant, vibrant works of art. I’ll aim to get the full set of photos (usually 600+) back to you within 4 weeks, but at busy times it may take up to six.
Once they’re ready, I’ll send you a private link to your online gallery, which you can share with family and friends. If you’re happy with everything, I’ll transfer the highest-quality image files onto a personalised USB drive, and mail it to you in a keepsake wooden box to keep your memories safe in.
